Employers
With daily rule changes and multi-million dollar verdicts commonplace, labor and employment law is a minefield no employer can ignore.
However, you can't stop work to become perfectly compliant, nor will you ever please every employee. You must strike a balance - do what you have to, address the greatest threats and do what you can with the rest. I can help you strike that balance and avoid the mistakes that could cripple your organization.
Why choose me?
I've been the client
Having been counsel for a major company, I know what it is like to be on the inside. I understand your need to focus on business first, to prioritize and to control costs.
Value
You pay lawyers for their knowledge and judgment. But often, you're paying for things you don't want or need - fancy offices, administrative staff, marketing, and profits for lawyers you've never met. I've deliberately kept my overhead low to make sure that you're only paying for the knowledge and judgment you need.
True partnership
Although I'm flexible with billing arrangements, my preference is to enter into flat fee arrangements that allow my clients to use me as much as they want. That way our interests are aligned. You have budget certainty and I'm incentivized to be efficient and to proactively address issues that could cause major headaches later.
A different approach to litigation
When facing an employee litigation, your first interest is to resolve the case with as little disruption and for as little money as possible. Most lawyers focus on obtaining a "legal win" that is costly and disruptive to the business. I focus on resolving matters quickly in order to avoid disruption, control cost and deliver the "business win" that matters to you.
